Hakai Lodge, British Columbia,
Western Canada

Fish the incredibly rich waters of the Pacific Ocean for feeding Chinook and Coho salmon. These are mint condition fish, big and bright silver in perfect condition. This is saltwater game fishing at its best. Prime time is from June through into early September. Big Chinooks move from the Pacific inshore and feed prior to migrating up the West Coastriver. Halibut are also numerous both in the eating range of 10 - 30 pounds and with specimens over 150 pounds being caught each season.

Hakai Lodge is perfectly placed in a remote region of B.C. on the mainland. The only access to the lodge is by seaplane from Seattle and Vancouver.

The lodge provides comfortable accommodation, guest lounge, restaurant/bar and excellent food on a full board basis.

Boats are provided along with traditional tackle. Do bring along your own fly rods and spinning gear. This is very much a hands on fishing experience with excellent advice from the lodge manager/owner.

A client in 2009 enjoyed great sport on the fly rod, landing Chinook salmon to 30 pounds. 40 and 50 pounders are caught every season.

Special holiday example; 7 nights at the lodge - 6 full days fishing. 2 nights in either Seattle or Vancouver (pre and post trip)... Cost from £3159 pp. Full board, self use boats, float plane transfer from Seattle. Special discounts for groups of 10 or more. Based on 2 travelling. Excludes flights from the UK.
