Location

Situated in the North Cape area of Finnmark, this excellent centre offers a choice of accommodation and great fishing. A sheltered harbour is located at the mouth of the Porsangerfjord, which has some of the richest fish stocks in Norway.

Accommodation

Self-catering cottages provide excellent accommodation or the hotel can be booked on a B&B, half or full board basis.
Cottages sleep from 2 to 8 people and guests have access to shared fish cleaning and drying room. The hotel has 71 simply furnished bedrooms in 7 buildings developed from an old fishing wharf.

Boats

Self drive oats range from 17 feet 25hp outboards to 33 feet 125hp diesel, the larger boats easily fishing up to 6 anglers.
Anglers are given operational and safety instructions upon arrival.

The Fishing

Cod to 68 pounds and halibut to 157 pounds have been caught here.
Wolfish, coalfish and haddock are also common.
