Fishing at the Reisa Fjord Hotel

Located right at the far (inland) end of the Kvaernangen Fjord where the Reisa River enterts the sea, the sea trout fishing here can be excellent. Fishing from the breakwater or the sandy beach ( on an incoming tide) is best. It is also possible to hire 18 foot boats with 40hp outboards for superior access.

Sea fishing for cod, haddock and halibut can be good when the herring shoals move deep into the fjord.

The hotel can arrange for char and salmon fishing on the Reisa River.

Season:

Early March to end of September with the prime time for sea trout being April to July. Salmon fishing is best July/August. Sea Fishing is generally at its peak in this area June to September.

A range of additional activities can be arranged depending on season and group size.
