As far north as it gets, stunning coastal scenery, white sandy beaches, craggy coastlines and obviously this far north - the Midnight Sun shines from late May until the end of July - it never goes dark during this period. Located just above Troms Region our fishing centres share the same rich ocean. Hammerfest Region is our selected county and it boasts superb sea fishing plus excellent salmon rivers and trout/char lakes.

Hammerfest is the world's most northerly town, located in the high Arctic. Fantastically rich Sea with coastal mountains and islands providing fabulous sea fishing for big cod, halibut, coal fish, haddock and wolffish. Major islands include Soroya, Kvaloya and Seiland. Frequent ferries link the islands to the mainland.

Excellent fly fishing in selected rivers and streams for salmon, char and trout. Mountain lakes offer excellent lake char fishing. A great destination for fishing, midnight sun, northern lights, photography, walking/hiking and touring. Permits are available for salmon fishing on prime rivers. Self catering cottages in small coastal villages with self use boats for hire. Excellent sea fishing. Syltefjord offers the addition of good salmon fishing in summer in a small river close to rental cottages. Groups are well catered for at the Rica Hotel Honningsvag ... where skippered fishing can be arranged for pre booked groups.

The Rica Hotel at Honningsvag offers accommodation with breakfast and dinner plus skippered fishing to top marks. Special rates for groups of 6 to 10 anglers.
