Self catering. 2 cabins each with 2 twin bedded rooms ideal for up to 4 persons (The Fish house will sleep 6 and the Sea Houses sleeps 4). Bathroom with sauna. Comfortable lounge with dining area and fitted kitchen with all facilities for a self catering holiday. Linen/towels, heating included. Owner/manager - Torbjørn lives in the adjacent farmhouse. A car is provided for clients to access the local shop.

Fishing

Excellent fishing for cod, coalfish, halibut, haddock close to the cottages. Spring time you catch big cod to 40 pounds and big wolffish to 20 pounds plus. Big coalfish 20 to 30 pounders in July through to September. Summer cod fishing is brilliant May to September. Halibut is best July to September. Stunning scenery, great fishing, away from the crowds. Boats, come with echo sounders and GPS. 18 foot aluminium with 30hp outboards.

Access

About 2 hours from Tromsø in the Lyngen Fjord near the junction with the Rotsund Fjord. Beautiful views of the Lyngen Alps, quiet location and great fishing.

Boats

18 foot 40hp 4 stroke petrol outboards. Echo sounders with integral GPS. Fast and comfortable with 2, will fish 2 to 4 persons. Very stable aluminium boat.

Rana 530
17-5 foot. 40hp 4 stroke petrol outboard. Echo sounder with integral GPS. Ideal for 2 to 3 persons, licensed for 4 max.

Arvor 215 (Limited availability)
22 foot, 100hp inboard diesel. Echo sounder, digital map and GPS. Perfect for 4 anglers. Forward cabin. This boat is ideal for all seasons and being diesel is cheaper to operate (marine diesel fuel half the price of petrol). A must have boat in Spring and Autumn.

Lifejackets supplied, during spring and autumn floatation suits are advised. Fuel; You pay for fuel locally, this is supplied by the lodge. Note: At least one person per boat should have reasonable boat experience. Safety: fish in pairs and take your mobile telephone with lodge emergency number.
