Just a few minutes from Europort (and the Hook), the most convenient fishing area in Holland. It gets quite popular but there's a huge choice of waters from canals like the Bernice and Voorne to bigger waters like the Spui and Harringvliet. All are literally stuffed with fish. Smaller dykes are full of small to medium size carp in addition to bream and roach. There are numerous stillwaters to explore too. Canals and river systems are stuffed with bream, roach and hybrids. Some waters hold quality tench and carp too.

Situated close to the large lake of Haringvliet, this excellent complex of villas offers high standards of accommodation. The old fortified town of Hellevoetsluis is nearby.

All the villas sleep 5 or 6 persons in 3 bedrooms with a choice of one or two bathrooms. The living room area is open plan and has a TV and stereo. The kitchens are fully equipped and include a dishwasher. The villas are well furnished in various styles and some overlook and have access to the resorts own lake where a variety of fish are caught. There is ample parking and gardens have a spacious terrace with garden furniture.

Facilities include a restaurant, café bar and Tony's Pub where you can relax with a drink and a game of pool or darts.

Citta Romana is an ideal base for fishing the excellent local waters including the Voorne Kanal, River Spui and Zuider Deeps.

This friendly hotel is 5 minutes walk from the town centre, it has a popular restaurant and the parking is excellent. There is no bait fridge, however there is a tackle shop in the town centre. This is a very popular self catering holiday complex consisting of 13 small but comfortable chalet bungalows. The cooking facilities are very limited but meals can be purchased in the on-site restaurant/bar where you can also relax with a drink.

Each chalet sleeps up to 6 but we suggest no more than 4 people. Linen is included. De Goede Reede is close to excellent fishing venues. There is also a nature reserve close by.

Fishing permits are available on site, bait storage is available and there is a tackle shop in Stellendam just 10 minutes drive away. Please book early as these chalets fill fast.

Best weight 350 lbs. All bream except for 1 x 4lb Ide. Spui at bottom of Bernice near marina. Fished double caster. Fished stick float then feeder. Again close in. Stick float, 90 pounds, fishing caster close in. Breille Meere had 200 lbs per angler on the pole at 9 metres... mainly caster and worm. Caster best bait in clear water... worm in coloured water. Amazing Sport!
