Allineuc is a wonderful hamlet in rural Brittany for guests who enjoy physical activities and the beautiful countryside is a fantastic place for walking, cycling and those searching for the perfect fishing holiday in France.

Set in three acres of landscaped gardens, our Manor House and Holiday Cottages offer an exceptionally high standard of accommodation. The local lake at Bosmeleac is about a 10 minute walk from the Manor along a wooded pathway where you will find swimming, walks, canoe & pedalo hire in addition to fishing (accompanied fishing is available). Fishing permits are available at post offices and tabacs. 70 POUNDS OF MIXED COARSE FISH - BREAM, TENCH AND CARP IN A SHORT MORNINGS FISHING IS RELATIVELY EASY. ALL JUST A 4 MINUTE DRIVE AWAY WITH PARKING CLOSE TO YOUR SWIM. The feeder or pole are the best methods and pre baiting is most important. The main lake has a huge stock of mixed species and the lake has a nice tinge of colour caused by feeding fish, particularly the carp and bream. Feed lots and often during your session too. Bulk out your feed with wheat its cheap and easy to travel with and prepare.

Choice of river and lake fishing. Within walking distance there's a superb lake full of bream, roach, rudd, tench and carp. A great place for family fishing holidays. All of the Holiday Cottages are furnished to a high standard and feature fully equipped kitchens. They also have their own barbecues and patio furniture. All have electric radiators in addition to either a fireplace or wood burner.

Travel

By Sea

The nearest ferry port is St Malo, although there are various routes across the Channel. St Malo can be reached from Poole, Weymouth and Portsmouth by Brittany Ferries and Condor Ferries. Please contact us if you need further details or advice as to the best routes. Alternatively Dover Calais or the Tunnel but that is a much longer drive.

All on first floor level: large entrance porch, open plan living/kitchen area, two double bedrooms, and a bedroom with two single beds. Separate bathroom and toilet.

The Manor House

Our Manor House has five bedrooms with luxury en-suite bathrooms, a spacious reception room and a fully fitted kitchen. Outside, there are two tiled south facing terraces with patio furniture and a BBQ (with a retractable sun canopy); the perfect place to enjoy those sultry evenings with friends and family.

The magnificent oak door of the Manor house opens into the entrance hall with a downstairs cloakroom. The reception room is spacious, measuring 13m x 6.6m, with comfortable lounge seating and a solid oak refectory dining table seating twelve people. More can be accommodated if required. English satellite television is available as is a CD player, books, toys and games.

The kitchen is fully fitted and includes dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, cooker, fridge freezer, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, crockery, cutlery, pans and casserole dishes.

The beautiful hand crafted staircase leads to the large landing and in turn, five bedrooms, all with their own fully fitted bathrooms. (Each bedroom is unique in its furnishings, ranging from divans to four posters and canopy beds. They are all equally comfortable and finished to high standard with wardrobes, bedside tables and lamps.) One of the double bedrooms also has a child's occasional bed. The Tower bedroom has a mezzanine floor with a double bed plus two single beds on the lower level. All of the bedrooms are of ample size to accommodate a cot if so required. A hair dryer is also available.

The Manor house is heated by radiators as well as a large working impressive granite fireplace in the reception room, ideal for roasting chestnuts on a winter's evening!
